Synopsis:

In 1970, Dennis Hopper filmed "The Last Movie" in Chinchero (Peru), an enigmatic western about an indigenous rebellion against an American film crew. The film was too experimental for the Hollywood studios, as a result of which it was almost never shown and Hopper himself was removed from directing for almost a decade. Today, the inhabitants of Chinchero are facing the construction of a large international airport on their territory, which threatens their present. Two filmmakers arrive in the village with the intention of discovering Hopper’s legacy.
