Soil and Subsoil - La Virreina Image Center

Guided visit to the exhibition "Soil and Subsoil" at Virreina - Centre de la Imatge in Barcelona. In June 2015 Patricia Dauder (Barceona, 1973) buried a set of works in an empty plot in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. The pieces from the studio spent weeks underground. A wide range of materials were exposed to premeditated degradation, suffering from the effects of climate and soil corrosion. That action outside the studio lasted as long as it took to complete the works.
